Ticks and more ticks
It's a jungle out there...
I had been using permetherin spray but ran out last fall and didn't get any more. Turkey season rolled around. I got 1 tick bite last weekend, one this past Saturday and two more on Sunday. Also found two more that weren't attached. I guess this is the new normal. It really heightened my awareness of how well the permetherin was working.

Where are you getting your permethrin spray ? It's about the only thing that works. The ticks where really bad in the Marmora area last Fall.

Lots in the pefferlaw area the better half had to digg one out me a few weeks ago. Was lots of reports of kids at the school coming back in with on them as well.
The guy at the pharmacy was saying they can't even walk out in the woods anymore without seeing them 3 years was none. I only saw my first last year when one of the kids had a small one latch on to her. We lost the one of the cats last fall I accidentally left the door open and a cat got out . Was missing for 36 days when we got it back we pulled out more than 2 dozens of the blood suckers.

Look for a farm supply store, and get Ultra Shield. Its a fly spray for horses that contains permethrin.
Been using it for 5 years now, and never get a single tick any time im out hunting.

Horse spray at Princess Auto contains it. Fine for turkey, problem is it has a smell added which ain't great for deer hunting. Can't fathom why canada has not approved it for us as its one of the few things that works. I've grabbed Sawyers in the US in the past when I've been there. Probably 25% more now
