What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.
-- "The Circus Animals’ Desertion" by William Butler Yeats

The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

For a town to be in this category, whether it is numbers of quality sized fish, or diversity of species as well as scenery and different water bodies in the area, Kingston would be at the top of the list. The only species not available in the local area are salt water fish such as sea trout or arctic char. Everything from bass, walleye, muskie, carp, salmon, trout and panfish are in the area, from Lake Ontario, the St Lawrence River, Rideau Canal and the hundreds of fresh water and spring-fed lakes in the area.

Nestor Falls, Sioux Narrows, or even Kenora. Non-resident visitation says it all!
