Help canoe fishing Lake Superior

Hello

I'm not much of a fisherman. I don't catch much anyway.

I like to fish but mostly do on canoe trips. I'm heading to Lake Superior provincial park in July. I've paddled it before and I know I'll be winded out a lot.
I've tried the creeks feeding the bays for brookies without success.
I'll be camping in somewhat sheltered bays. I've tried trolling around with lures without success. I did catch a splake from a rock outcropping in turbulent water a few years ago. I didn't expect them there but saw them schooling so threw in a line.

My hope is to catch fish that are suitable for 1 or 2 people. Nothing huge.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
