Just wondering if there are any Hungarian Wirehaired Vizla owners on this forum and how they like the dogs perfromance.

I saw one once at a game farm in Exater, the owner said it was easy to train.

I saw one on a hike once, the guy was of Hungarian descent and he imported it.
We didn't talk hunting or training. I didn't even know they existed until then.

There's a guy breeds them up near my camp in buckhorn/Bobcaygeon area, I'll try and find his number and info and pm it to you.

JNyiri has a Wirehair Vizsla he brought over from Hungary. He should be able to help you with your questions. Growing up with vizsla's i can tell you that they are very smart, easy to train, very good pointers. For Ontario the wirehair version will fit right in because of the winters we have.
