mobile app!!!!!
is anyone else hopelessly addicted to oodmag.com?? well i am. lol the problem is about 90% of the reading and posting i do on this site is from my smartphone. unfortunalty this site is not the most mobile freindly. when typing there are glitches. i can go more into detail on these glitches if need be.
anyways i was just wondering what are the chances of a mobile app for android or iphone coming out or a mobile version of the site??
im sure it wont happen but i thought id try. also if you use a mobile phone to post speak up!!

I hope we go to tapatalk. It's awesome easy to use for forums and easy to instantly upload pics.
That rug really tied the room together

I have used Blackberry and Android to read and post...In fact this post is being written from my Android.
But we have asked a few times for an app for that.
FWIW I believe JBen often posts from an iphone or ipad .

Hey guys. I feel your pain on the side of getting this forum mobile friendly. Moving forward into 2013 we will be upgrading the software and the website as a whole to make it more user friendly - this includes mobile friendly forum. It will be a large task converting the forum over and we will likely be looking for some members to help us work out any bugs (when the time comes). My hope is that it runs smoothly without any major issues.
Of course with the conversion we will lose all the custom add-ons that the current site has so it will take time to get things running smoothly.
We had planned on looking into alternative solutions to make the site more mobile friendly but have been bogged down with other projects. As some are aware (and others will be now) Ganer and myself manage over 15 websites for the OFAH as well as this forum, numerous YouTube accounts and multiple Facebook and Twitter accounts. Not that we are making excuses for the lack of progression with this request (as it has been requested in the past) just simply letting others know that this forum is not our only site to manage.
If time permits outside of work I will look into the TapaTalk and see what is involved with configuring it with this site. No promises though.
Just wanted to chime in and let everyone know that we plan on upgrading in 2013 to v 5 Connect that includes its own mobile package.
Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Glad to hear it is still on the radar
