Brand new shotgun accessory. High value item, you identify it and you'll get it back. No troll here guys. Don't want the rightful owner to get ripped off.

Bump. Still got 'it.'
Let me know. Anyone in the KW that shoots ducks should ask around. Don't wanna execute my rights under 'finders keepers law.'

hey. i dont shotgun hunt but i had a thought.
i fish the spot you're talking about and have had good luck. there's a part of the river that is public land and you only see minnonite families out there, but it's rare. say if i were to take a bow up there and hit a few geese hanging out by the river, would i be the first hunter to jump in there?
I'd be completely out of sight from people and not tresspassing as all river is technically crown land. it's out in the middle of no where so there really is no law against firing a firearm, or is there?
thoughts?

You would be best to check with the local authorities about the discharge laws, a bow is under the same laws, there are some strict laws in the area, definitely there are trespass laws. While you may not be trespassing while standing in the river, what about the goose that lands on the shore, or flies 25 yards and drops. The river tends to be a roosting area, be prepared to take the flack for shooting up a roost, the birds will only hang around for that a couple of time, then the hunting is spoiled for all.
I have a unique idea, if you want to hunt there, why not go up to the farmhouse, knock on the door and politely ask for permission to hunt their property? Explain that you bow hunt so it is quiet, there is no mess like shell casings, offer them a goose, even if you only get one, give it to them, they will welcome you back. Once you do it a few times, it becomes easier. I just got back from visiting some landowners with a buddy, we were thanking them again for allowing us to hunt last year, and ensuring we can hunt again this year... there was one property I have not hunted for 2 years... I am still welcome and still the only person allowed.
Don't forget to get your duck stamp and waterfowl permit, you still need one even with the bow.

Don't return it for free, Wayne. I hate people who don't care about their valuables... Ask them to give 20 bucks donation to OFAH or something similar.
