Dove
going to try and cook some dove this week out of the freezer, anyone have some tested recipes? haven't cooked small game birds before, just ducks and large game.

I`ld treat it like grouse. I`ve had lots of pigeon before, and it`s awsome. Can`t wait to try doves.

just breast them and u will get 2 pieces nugget size.....wash and shake in a garlic/crumb mixture and fry for about 5-10 minutes in butter.....key is not to over cook....they are very tasty and moist but need a load for a good meal......enjoy....meat is dark in colour

Wrap breasts in bacon and pan fry until bacon is done, but not too crispy.
DELICIOUS!!

X2 on the bacon wrapped dove. We cut each breast into 2, marinated overnight and on the grill (offset on the BBQ).

baste and marinade in soysauce (whole bird) and roast sitting up. vancouver china town recipe at it's best. serve with white rice

Breast, mix with Montreal steak spice, bacon wrap and BBQ on med heat 3-5 mins a side. Best I ever had

Oh ya, buy a premium bacon, PC offers one that is pepper encrusted, adds taste and hold together better than the cheaper brands.
