Do you guys like coyote decoys?
I used to have a mojo critter but it broke on me. Based on my last successful hunt where the coyote sat on the field edge and watched the caller for a while, I was wondering if a decoy will pull those coyotes out of the bush that are sitting there watching more often and make me more successful? When i had the mojo I felt like it was just another thing to lug around and set up when hunting but if other people are having more success since starting to use a decoy I may get another one.

They add to the illusion and deceit in order to pull the coyote in, although I never use any decoy while turkey hunting.

I use the "yotie" the coyote decoy. I have a real coyote tail pinned on its for a bit of extra movement ( tail will move in the wind)
I have had coyotes come running in straight at it barking the entire time. Other time I have had them come running in for the black jack decoy then see the coyote decoy and stop and not come any farther.
I find it works the best at my one spot that is a pig farm that has lots of food around. coyote decoy right in the middle of the field and do howls. I called in 3 at once last year, Got two of them .

I like a motion decoy like the mojo critter you mention....(I have the foxjack 2-same kind of thing) It isn't too intimidating and draws their attention away from you...

I find that the decoy really gets their attention and they dont notice me shifting positions to make a shot.
Foxpro blackjack is what I use and it moves and spins.

Only thing I don't like about the Black jack is I can hear the motor running from 30+ yards away. I know coyotes have stopped when they heard that, But it was too late for them as they were like 50 yards from me.

I have a foxjack on my foxpro and like it .It can be controlled on off from remote whereas the mojo critter goes constantly.
I also have an actual coyote decoy but find it noisy to carry.

I use the primos Sit-N-Spin motion decoy and find it works well in combination with my foxpro
