Wow what are the thinking, they must know people are out on the ice. Hope it gets good by next weekend with a bit of snow on the ice planning to show up with a sled and maybe pull some gear out for you guys.

No, he has problems touching his line with lit cigarettes and watching the big ones swim away!

A bad day hunting or fishing is better than a good day at work.

OK - now I understand. Fishing location will be identified the Wednesday BEFORE the 18th. I keep hearing Wednesday and when Wednesday goes by I'm waiting to hear of the location. Now I know you mean Wednesday the 15th.

Lol, I am still laughing at this . They are thinking about controlling the water levels to protect thousands of people/homes. (still chuckling)

HA glad you had a good laugh, I,am a regular Milton Berle. Seriously thought about the flooding after the post, but a little warning to the guys out on ice would not hurt.

Won't be able to make it. We were out on Scugog today, pretty much the only ones around due to all the slush. On the way back to shore (5 minutes) the bucket strapped to the back of one of the quads fell off with all the rods and reels. We didn't know it until we got to shore so headed back out to get it. Just over 1/2 way a skidoo was zipping towards another shoreline near where we drove back, not paying much attention to it. Well, unfortunately there was no trace of our stuff. Have to assume bad timing with that skidoo going by and taking what he found on the ice. There was only about a 5 minute window but that's all it took so no more gear. Don't feel like spending a few hundred to replace it at this time.
Hope you guys have fun, looking forward to the after report.
