Booth's Harbour
Anyone headed to, or know someone that is going to Booth's Harbour, there's a bad spot in the ice the size of a pickup truck, 2 out of 3 of us went for an unplanned swim this morning. The rest of the bay has 14" of ice everywhere.
Likely a moving spring or a pocket that will most likely remain with just a skim on it for the remainder of the season so it impossible to see.
Here is the spot and the coordinates on the bottom right.

That spot you speak of is where a hut had sunk into the ice during the warm spell. The guys had to cut it out with chainsaws. There are two or three locations out there like that right now. I think they are marked with fire wood now, but as always, drive slow and keep your eyes open.
