    Works for sure... Seen it with my own eyes... Dog laying on my buddies coat after chasing a deer for two days in a swamp.

    A coon hunter once told me that you should pee on a nearby tree as well

    Great read. I heard a story once the guy live 2 county roads away (no winter maintenance) and took a pair of cover-alls and dragged from back of sled back to the house....dog was on cover-alls at front door in the morning. Great advice!

    That is super advice. I hope to never have to use it but I will if needed. I'm glad you got your dog back.

    It not only works for just Beagles. Friends have used this technique for Labs,Walkers,Bear hounds and Black and Tans.
    If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

    Used this method countless times. Usually the next morning the dog will be there 90% of the time.
