Lake simcoe ice... is it frozen in the middle?

probably heading out of beaverton tomorrow... gonna try white shoal area.. .never been out past Thorah island so just wanted any ice reports if possible and if anyone has been out there... how has the fishing been? Not expecting you to tell me your hot spot obviously... but any extra info would be greatly appreciated

Fishing has been off and on. Just a matter of the right day/time I guess. But thats fishing.
4 inches of solid white and 7 inches or so of real good black - that was last Friday. You'll hit glare ice so be aware of that (Cleats). Follow the trail out - you can't miss it. Good Luck,

thanks buddy, much appreciated... figured ice would be good out there but always nice hearing it from someone else who has been out there lately... im sure todays weather alone added another inch to the pile!
