Have been going out with Shawn and Tara for the past 2 years and it has been by far the best service and fishing we have had in our 15 years of fishing nipppissing . Very friendly staff and seem to know the lake and are always willing to help .We stay in the 6 man on ice bungalows and find they have plenty of room and very clean. 28 of us heading up there Jan 5th to the 8th . Try and leave us a few fish.

We have been going to Idle Tyme since the first year Shawn purchased it (must be at least 3 or 4 years now) and are going to check out his new property Bear Creek in mid-Feb. Shawn runs a fantastic operation and we have never had even one issue with them - we're taking his word on Bear Creek as well and will let you know how we do.

Fair, but slow at times. The perch numbers were low and those usually keep you busy. Enough walleye to keep us interested.

2 years ago at idle the perch fishing was unreal. Better that simcoe, nothing under 10". Only caught 12 eyes per hut, but had to remind the perching was world class that trip. No need to worry about slot with the perch

The huts are in a different spot. Closer to some islands. We also saw great perch action a couple of years ago and thought they were going to be the main target species, but this and last year was much different. Number were way down for us.
