JACK MINER NATIONAL WILDLIFE WEEK FESTIVAL APRIL 11-13, 2014
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

– In 1947, The Canadian Government declared the week of Jack Miner’s birth, April 10th, 1865 to be National Wildlife Week. Sixty-seven years later, the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary will be celebrating National Wildlife Week and Jack Miner’s 149th birthday with activities for all ages, and admission is FREE!
The Jack Miner Migratory Bird Foundation is thrilled to have been selected for the SECOND YEAR as a Canadian Duck Calling Contest Qualifier for the Duck Calling World Championship Contest in Stuttgart! Visit the Sanctuary and listen to participants compete in Master Duck/Goose calling, Team, Novice and Youth calling, all in "Main Street" style.
Take a photo at the Sanctuary and enter the photo contest – you could win $100!!! Go fishing in the trout pond, vote for the People’s Choice Award at the migratory waterfowl taxidermy exhibition and contest; visit with vendors and exhibitors showcasing outdoor wear and equipment and have lunch served up by the 2
nd Kingsville Scouts. Watch retriever demonstrations, feed the birds, drop into the museum, go on a scavenger hunt! There’s so much to do and see!
Celebrate Jack Miner’s birthday on Sunday morning with a FREE pancake breakfast from 6:30am-9:00am. Donations appreciated!
