50rd Drum Mags for Ruger 10/22
Attachment 24193
Got the phone call last night from That Hunting and Fishing Store here in Richmond and they have 10 50rd drums in stock (only 6 left though). Before I buy, will I get into trouble with CO or police? They have them listed at $129.00, brother wants me to pick one up for him as well. This is my current 10/22 with Archangel Kit...not really a big fan of it and might put the synthetic stock back on gun. Had to shim the left rear of scope as the kit did not line up correctly
P.S. They sell for $79.99 at BP in the states, just checked

Why would a CO care?
It is a rimfire magazine, you have have as many as you want in there, have at it.
Where do you live in Ottawa? I live in Barrhaven and I just put my guns from the cabinet to the cases and into my car, if nobody sees something that they may think is a problem then nobody will think there is a problem.

pretty sure there's nothing illegal as far as the CO or the police go. I've read that they are a real pain to load, and don't function terribly well, especially for that price. All here-say on my part though, no actual experience.

I back on to greenbank near the food basics.
Barrhaven does not seem like that much of a hunting community.
Dad got a deer and we processed it in the garage, ha ha, parked my car to block out the neighbour kids, backed dads truck up and dragged it into the garage, done and done.

No one on my street and have had some rude comments when unloading truck about being a killer, why do you hunt...ect. ect. I do take the 11yrs boy at end (Mom is single parent) of street with me and my daughter shooting all the time. He loves it too.

I have a couple of 30 round magazines that work great. They are two different makes and both are OK.

When I bought my 10/22 the gun was $110 and that was brand new with an extra clip.....in about 1972.
