I don't have any problem sharing my "below maximum" loads with others, but would never do it on an open forum. My max, and beyond, recipes are between me and the Almighty. But I've been reloading for over 50 years and over that time learned quite well what to look for in terms of pressure signs. I've heard the published loads referred to as "lawyer loads", meaning they are limited due to liability concerns. But know what you're doing before even going close to a max load. On the powder storage topic, I think a greater concern beyond the 75 kg max storage from this act, is what does your insurance policy say. My guess is that little or no storage is allowed. Need to look at my policy since I probably have stored powder in the 25 kg range.

Hawtree
thanks for the response.
Fortunately I have a shop that is 70 ft from the house so I have a place to store powder in a relatively benign area. I don't discuss reloading with my insurance company
.
Anything that I have shared for loads is just the same data anyone can get at the Hodgdon site. I am not suggesting that it become a free-for-all. I made the suggestion because I believe there is a need based on what I see as regular posts. For me it is a related but separate hobby from shooting and hunting.

I think it's a great idea. With CGN's more western demographic, I think it would be good to see an Ontario-centric reloading forum~if only to share resources, info. on dealers with stock, etc. So, I vote "yes".

^ Agreed. I don't deviate from Hodgdon's maximum loads for a given powder/bullet weight, so, I have no issue sharing load data. I'm not a competitive shooter, so if I can shave some trial and error time away from someone else's efforts~why not? Granted, I tend to only chime in if the person asking has a rifle of the same caliber, FROM the same manufacturer with the same rate of twist.

I like the idea of sharing tips. I have been reloading for about 2 years.
I suspect Hawtree who has been doing it for 50 would have some good tips for us. I am not so much interested in the load data as how people are finding performance of different powders at different temperatures.
I did a load using Superformance last year and shot them from my 30-06 at -5 C. I was underwhelmed. Not a good powder for a deer load in November. On the other hand I really like H4350. And CFE 223 is like a steroid for 22-250
