Hi all I got one of those jerky gun things for Xmas and was wondering if anybody has ever used one???

Can I use the same rubs as I do with my muscle jerky?

Do I still need to use cure???

Any information from someone who's tried this would be appreciated...

I have been doing that way for years now. Buy the mix at home hardwear, ctc. or wearever you can get
the packs and mix with hamburg or venison, moose burg as per instructions and dry on a smoker

or dehydrater for 6 to 8 hrs. makes real tasty jerky.

No not yet. But I got a new Bradley digital and want to do some sausage and jerky.
Have been playing with a water smoker for probably 20 years and thought I would
try a different type like the Bradley. Now I just got to try making my own rubs
and marinades. Cant beat the taste of good smoked meats, just don't overcook.
Get using that jerky gun they work good with the burger.
