Titan is driving me nuts too - I feel your pain. With these frigid temperatures my 2 run outside for a piddle and poop and come flying back inside otherwise if they take too long it is a 3-legged walk back inside! I find anything colder than -13 seems to effect my Vizslas feet and they end up hobbling back home from a walk. So we play lots of indoor games, obedience and stuffed toys/chew toys/bones.

Most dogs have a "thing" for water bottles or plastic jugs (juice jugs), pop bottles - so I take off the lid and the ring seal and drop a few kibbles in it and Titan has a great time rolling around the bottle, crunching it, tossing it, figuring out how to get the kibbles out and basically destroying it to his hearts' content - keeps him busy for a good half hour at times! *Supervised of course, hard core chewers may hack off shreds of plastic and ingest - so always monitor them!*

Ah I thought to day might be the day. Sunny - beautiful. I thought the pup could finally work off some of that energy. NOT! -18

Thought we would go to town today, got as far as the County road and the OPP were turning people back. The wind was whipping across the flats and it was a constant white out. It is drifting on the north and south routes. Hope February brings a change.
