My drahthaar pups been born.
Very excited. My new pup was born Jan 22. I'm getting a female Drahthaar. This will be my first dog of this breed but I've been around them for several years now. I'll be able to bring her home sometime in March. Looking forward to that big time.

Congrats. You might want to post in the thread on "what breed?" to give some info on why you chose the Drahthaar and what kind of hunting you bought it for.

Hi Sharon. My new puppy will be used for waterfowl, pheasant and cottontails. Hopefully raccoon and coyote trailing too.I go to all the Pelee hunts so she should get on lots of birds.
