I have a question to those who owns one of this collar. My receiver make some noise ( sounds like there is aloose parts inside the housing) when I shake it. Yours do the same thing?
Thanks Jozsef

No, it doesn't rattle. You must have something wrong with yours.

What do YOU mean by Receiver....the Collar or the Hanheld unit?.....the collars do have a rattle....I believe thats the sensor that knows when the motion stops (dog is on point)...my collars both have the "Rattle".
"The Pointer is a superb Pointing Dog, born to serve a Gun. It will have no reason to exist when it will no longer be able to do so, or when there are no more Guns to be served."
The Woodcock: "A Prince Among Game Birds", "and its flesh is a delight to the palate of an epicure...the pretty pattern of woodland light and shades, the delicate long bill, and the big liquid eyes. An aristocrat among game birds!" AMEN.

The collar (receiver) should rattle ; the transmitter should not.i

if it's your transmitter, are you sure it's just not the ring that holds the lanyard to it?

It's the collar. Looks like all rattle.
Thanks.

My collar also rattles. It works fine, so I did not do anything about it. I am glad to hear that it is likely the norm. Thanks for actually asking.

The rattle you hear in the collar is part of the sensor that senses whether or not the dog is in motion aka so the beeper works when on point but not when in motion.

It's much better when somebody else looks stupid.
