Plans for 2014?
My goals:
•finish my dog to a SH level in training
•run a WCI test and finish his last two JH passes
•practice enough with the compound to proficiently take any animal with it for the first time be it a squirrel or deer.
•go on my first field goose hunt and try to get on the big water and not just ponds and creeks.
Have fun everyone. Some great plans laid out here. Enjoyed reading them.
Good luck.

One of the best ideas so far, but...make the time, before you run out of time. Memories last forever, but only if you make them.

I don't get a phenomenal salary, but i do get close to 30 days off a year... so I plan on plenty of long weekends for both wild turkey (spring) and whitetail (fall) hunts.
If the work/life schedule permits, I'd also like to find a good spot to hunt grouse to enjoy some nice walks with my 4 yr old daughter.

Gogama is your spot. Quite a bit of lodging options as well as camping. Might as well where the birds are.
