You should be able to find the thieves and chop there hands off! I feel your buddies pain, just had my work truck broken into on Thursday. Cleared out ever single tool, with the total of over 5 grand. Insurance is covering the loss, but still am on the search for the piece of crap that took them. If I find him, he will be paying one way or the other for the two days of lost work insurance won't cover.

yes, we have had some guy coming up our driveway checking to see if vehicles are locked or not, have seen his footprints in the snow about 3 times already this winter, almost like he walks our street from the corner up one side and down the other as you can see his tracks in and out of everyones driveway on the street ( dead end street ) have the trail cam set up, so hope to get a good enough picture to give to the police. would love to be sitting in a chair under our tree to catch him but a little chilly for that.
lovely world we live in today.....

Has too much time on their hands
Had my Escape entered in the summer....Got home from work and the wife called me in before I locked the doors.
My fault for leaving them open but car was empty in the morning. Kinda made me wonder how often they come around
as I lock my doors religiously....or better yet park it in the garage....one day I mess up and in they go.
Police told me they call these kids' "Handle flippers"...as they run up and down the street quickly just flipping the handles until they find one open.
Prikks took my "Fishing camera" with over 1300 pics. Luckily, most were downloaded to the computer.
Sorry for your sled loss.
