Has too much time on their hands
Blackwolf I did the raw diet for many years and have a variety of raw diet mix's that were created by myself and an animal nutrtionist. Balance is key and can very easily disrupt the growth cycle of a pup and cause skeletal deformity .Stick with a diet such as Acana, Diamond Natural, National dog food, Redpaw. These kibbles are balanced diets that are as close to raw . I did the raw diet for my high performance sled dogs and the best results come from a balanced diet. KEEP IT SIMPLE !

My sister fed her German Sheppard and Black Lab raw meat with cooked carrots and potatoes since they were pups. They are 6 years old now. We didn't see any bad effects from raw meat. The German Sheppard is huge now. The size of him scares people.
One good effect is that their poo don't stink. It turns into dust when it dries up. She fed her previous dog (Doberman) process dog food and the poo stinks, must be the filler in the processed food.

It's not a problem with the raw meat. The concern is providing a BALANCED diet, which she obviously understood.

Find some well rounded kibbles (for puppies) and mix it up with what he likes. I always feed kibbles first which he eats driven by hunger and than he gets the good stuff, meet (raw or prepared), tripe, apples, etc....like rice, potatoes, vegetables.
