    Default Lead bar Stock, from wheel weights

    Did the drop test for bitumen and solid thunk... Half the stock when we parted ways sitting in drawer in garage for year. Barely can pull out drawer

    Drop test for bitumen? Bitumen is basically crude oil. I don't understand.

    Unless you are talking about lead hardening? And meant antimony?

    Yup that's what I meant...duh...dreaming of oil fields while typing I guess...

    True test....

    They are most likely wheel weight lead that has tin and antimony added to it. Pure lead does not shine like chrome. Pure lead when heated to certain temperatures gives off a gold oxidized tint and when heated further gives off purple and blue oxidation. THIS is the indication that you're in contact with PURE LEAD, the HOLY GRAIL of lead. Wheel weight lead melts at a LOWER temperature than PURE lead because of different alloys other than lead present.
