Shed Training

Has anyone else trained their dog for sheds during the off-season?

I just started with Misty, and she's loving it. Followed a series of YouTube videos captured from the audience, of a fellow at a sportsman show teaching shed training. Low and behold, my hound has retriever instincts - at least with sheds.

So far, I've been able to throw the sheds in the house, and she brings them back to hand. I've been able to hide them around the house as well and she finds them, and brings them back to hand.

I'll start working with her outside this coming weekend getting some more distance throws, and some more intricate hiding places; hopefully be ready when the snows start to melt.

Hi, would you be able to share the link to the video you used? I did a quick search and found a few. It's difficult to tell which are good and which are just folks showing off the sheds they've found.
