It is a well run program but it can be frustrating. The release sites are small and basically if you aren't there soon after birds are released, you're going to be disappointed. The locals have a pretty good handle on when birds get released and they make sure to get out there and get them. In the early season, opening weekend, etc., you have to be there well before first light or someone will be there before you. With the size of the release sites if someone else is hunting a spot you basically have to go someplace else.
On the other hand they release quality birds and there are some nice hunting spots. And there are also some very good spots for woodcock when the flight is in.
