Thanks! It would be my first deer of any kind, lol. I'm a late starter in the deer game. 30-ish years hunting bunnies, birds, etc., but only two gun seasons for deer under my belt. We'll see how this goes. I like the idea of being able to spend a lot more time in the woods deer hunting, thus the foray into archery. The traditional and instinctive methods won't make it any easier to reach a successful end, but it's what floats my boat.

Try some 3D shoots as well once your ability and confidence level gets up. It's great practice when it comes to estimating yardages and making shots of various distance. Losing arrows is easy to do though.
