And I've never seen an Italian guy buy a reasonably-priced outfit, but that doesn't mean I know their business or should be assuming or generalizing it on a public forum. Dunno bout the others but it's rare for me to fish so close to strangers that I can see what they're keeping and what they're releasing. (Actually the last time I did see someone release a fish it was an Asian person, though the fish was OOS.)
I'm on another forum where some of the members, including some Asian people to go by the pics they post, are into fishing for obscure fishes just for the thrill keeping a life species list, and it's always for live release. I hope they don't come across this thread.

I have seen countless numbers of fish similar to this in fish culture during the sac fry life stage, always toss them due to poor genetics or they die on their own. The twin did not separate and became a parasitic eye. Just a freak of nature like the three legged frog or Chuck Norris.
