Slow times on Lake nippising
Just got off the ice today. Only a few super light bites. Just wondering if it was just me or is everyone out there having bad luck.

We were out this past Thursday and my buddy said the day was slow. Took the sled out from Deep Water Pt for about 30 min+ run past Gull Rock and we were getting close to Goose Isl. Fishing a reef formation in about 30-35 fow. Out from about 10:30am to 17:30 (with the long ride back had to leave b4 prime time), ended up with about 20 nice perch and our limit of 4 eyes, all under the slot. Still a great day out.

Came back from Chilly Willy's yesterday. From Friday morning to Sunday morning there was 4 keeper perch caught in the hut. No walleyes. Marked 2 decent fish in two days. Sunday afternoon we went for a walk and the group split up in two locations. one group got 3 walleye (two people) and the other group got 13 (two people) from about 2 pm to dark. fish sizes varried. I personally got a nice one that was let go was just under the high end of the slot. Monday morning after I packed the truck I fished while everyone else was doing thier thing. Got one more walley from the hut. First time in 3 years fishing form the bungalow sucked so bad. But what can you do. i still didnt want to come home haha!
