BW you didn't have very good Keeshond guard dogs if they are scared of a cap gun. You should look up a proper gun introduction.

All these threads go the same path and people with far more knowledge then me always say the same thing this forum needs to be proactive and add some important info for any sporting dog and that is at the very least a proper gun introduction. We are still seeing people posting about gunshy dogs when there is no need. It doesn't matter what discipline you train a gunshy dog should be a thing of the past.
We have a sticky for purchasing a dog and what to look for but we can't be bothered to put up a gun introduction? I would think with the knowledge of some people on here we could get one done.
