    I think online should be an option, but let's be frank here. There are a number of people doing the course, both PAL, and HSC that are not of the younger generation. You seem to be coming at this with the perspective that most new hunters are in their teens and early 20s, that is not the case. I have a few friends who are in their 50s who organized an instructor to do the weekend course last year.

    There needs to be, at least for the foreseeable future, an in class option, for older people, and for those people who quite simply do not benefit from a course offered online.

    I am leery of the fact that it could very well wind up like the boaters course.....which I don't think I'd be too keen on when it involves firearms.

    They should make the courses available in all highschool's across.the province.

    there are 5 provinces and a large number of usa doing it online ... seems to be running smooth

    I agree ... It could be eliminated with a in-person test ....
