Would highly recommend Island 10 on Lady Evelyn lake. Big water, good accommodations and it's an easy drive boat in lodge that has fly in feel
We also liked Brennan Harbour Lodge on the whalesback channel of lake Huron. Very scenic, great hosts. Only caveat would be being on a great lake it can get rough. Would recommend the upgrade to the Lund 17 foot tiller with the 50 yami

The guy in the group should be replaced by another guy in the group. One life to live... IN FACT, three lives to live and one life holding you back from doing so. Dump him for another angler, preferably one that cooks, and take a fly-in. I'd recommend Partridge Lake through Cochrane Air to fish Kesagami... If the three of you wanna pay my way and for the food, I'll guide ya and take care of all the meals. lol.

You also have the option of training in, you can drive to Sudbury and then catch the Budd Car on the the CP line and it heads up to White River Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and heads back to Sudbury on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I have been to a couple of American Plan Lodges on this line but only recommend one. Mar Mac Lodge on Esnagi lake is by far the superior resort along this railroad. The train ride is all day but it is worth the trip as the fishing is second to none with a beautiful lodge

Hi
My son and I were looking for a place not too far from Hamilton with decent fishing and a variety of fish. We were told about the Upper French River and gave it a try. We contacted Sandy Haven Camp. They supplied breakfast and Supper. We brought our own boat but the boats the camp has are first class. The food, cabins and price were excellent. We went the third week of June so all fish were open.
The walleye were plentiful and good size. We targeted Bass and Musky and caught lots no size in Musky. The scenery and water is spectacular. Going again this year send me a PM if you want more details.
Good luck
