what is Pine Island like?

Sorry, I didn't get in there yesterday to see. I'll be heading down the highway tomorrow and if I remember as I'm going by, I'll stop in to have a look. My guess is that it's fine, we've had some cold weather here.

Wow it is about 15yrs since I heard the name bruce mines. There are some trout lakes out the sled trail at the end of poverty lane off hwy 129 Wharncliffe. They are worth the trek but do not try to drive to them. Anyone ever hit up Basswood?

the morning i was heading out on to ottertail i stopped at the highway variety for minnows and the guy asked me where i was going fishing and i told him ottertail and he was telling me that lots of guys have already been out at pine island. so im sure the ice is decent there. i wouldnt hesitate to go out there. and shhhhh avid angler, nobody has to know that!
