My front fiber optic sigh is not screwing in completely straight. If I line it up properly there is still some room for it to be snug. If I snug the sight up its crooked to the left....how can I fix this?

Can h not hold the sight straight while u tighten it?

it screws in fine but when I completely screw it in it is not facing straight forward it is on angle to the left abit

I'm thinking the threaded section is a bit too long and may be bottoming out and causing a lean to one side.

that's weird because all I did was take the sight off once and now it wont line up properly. how would I fix this if it bottoming out?

So this is not a new installation? The sight was already seated and straight at one time? I don't know what is causing the problem then. Sounds like you might have cross threaded it putting it back in. If it was a new install, I would suggest sanding of a 16th of an inch before threading it in.

use a bit of locktite, screw it in all the way then back it off till straight, let the locktite set over nite, removeable locktite

would crazy glue work? ive layered some scotch tape and it seems to look straight but now the sight isn't very bright

If you don't have locktite you can test run it with some fine cotton thread wrapped in the threads at the top of the screw. As far as brightness goes all the fiber optic does in amplify ambient light so unless your tape job somehow is blocking light from getting to the fiber it's probably just an impression.

can I bring just the barrel and the sight to bass pro? maybe they can fix it or have an idea of what I can do
