Looks great, can't wait to give it a go!
In a perfect world, townships, parks systems, and conservation authorities would publish scrapable/aggregatable information for their properties, and firearms bylawys, and whatnot. That would be an awesome additional layer to apps like yours, but I know from just trying to Google a lot of these things that they're a pain in the to find manually.
Thanks again!

With regards to reviews, the Google Play store has a 4.6 star rating, with 17 reviews. Every one of those is linked to an actual user of the product, and their contact info is actually on their review. Feel free to reach out to them. The Apple app store has about the same rating, with 10 reviews. Unfortunately, it doesn't include user's contact info there.
Unfortunately, the Android app doesn't work on BB, as it uses some Google specific components that aren't compatible. If I get a BB version running, I will make a post on the board to let your guys know.
Again, feel free to post questions here, or email me directly at

Thanks again.

I have the Android version but it looks like you're not going to add the Pro version? In any event I also have an Ipad and will be switching back to iphone soon and would like to get it, is there anyway to get the regular version from the Apple store without having to re-buy it?

If you buy the regular ihunter ontario version for android and you develope a pro version is it going to be offered for free to those with teh regular version or will it automatically boost the regular version to pro status............also can you use this add offline without a network or wifi connection? So if you are on it it doesnt chew up data plans

So I now have the Pro Version of iHunter Ontario.
I have to say I'm really liking the direction this app is going. I see this as a great tool for those sticking with it long term that like to log data and notes.
The waypoints allow for naming, icons and a description for details which is great.
WMU boundaries are beneficial when hunting close to them to avoid wandering out of WMU
Sunrise/Sunset and weather info is nice
Regulation summary is nice to have in case your not sure on detail both provincial and online resources
You can email or SMS your current location to hunting partners etc.
Many different map options
You can cache maps for offline use and many more different ways to control the way you use this app
I really like the ability to input GPS coordinates, I can set the boundaries for our Hunt Camp properties up north among other important items
Pro Tools
Search and filter WMU's is a good tool for quick reference and locating the WMU you want
The ability to search the map for locations like towns, parks, lakes etc
Quick select of waypoints, favorites and recently viewed
AND the ability to draw freehand over the map which I think is great for quickly marking the map in your own custom way.
I have not fully explored the app yet and expect it will take more time out in the field getting comfortable with all the tools available.
Really looking forward to using and seeing where this progresses and I highly recommend it.

Hey Mr Davis, thank you for that little review... I'm sure it will help a few decide on buying the app.
