    I wonder how they going to enforce the 10 birds limit?
    Leon can you tell me where do you apply for the permit? I trying to find out but no luck. Last week I had a chance to spoke with an MNR officer, even he couldn't tell me.

    Kind of missed the point of this thread. Permit no longer needed.

    10 birds per year? not enforceable, IMO

    Call the MNR office your WMU falls into and ask who deals with
    Application for an Authorization to Conduct Field Trials and Training During the Closed Season
    I can tell you who it is in Aurora.

    I already tried the Aurora office, left a message. I never got a response. Can you let me know who is the person who deal with this?

    If you have a private property to train on. Up to 10 birds/year. Some of us have to use public land.

    I know a few people who release a lot more than ten every year. Next to impossible to enforce.

    With the cutbacks taking place at MNR in April I don't know how they will enforce any regulations.
    I just hope everyone will follow the rules regardless of whether there's an enforcer hiding behind every tree or not. It's called integrity
