Happened in Toronto a few times where they say the police seized a couple of "sawed off high powered rifles". What I saw the police holding were actually 22 calibre rimfire. Single shots and bolt action repeaters. Media tends to over exaggerate their stories!

Look at the size of the extended magazine on that thing!! I bet you could easily convert it to full auto!!! It might even be belt fed!

"Guns shoot people" "cars drive drunk" and "spoons make people fat" is what some people want others to believe. No one wants to, or is accountable anymore.

RCMP will be picking these up next week after they ban them. The reporter said it was a sniper rifle. That makes it scary.

I get the part where the Reporter just blurbs out any old silly thing. The disturbing part is that the Peel Regional Police website reports it as a .50 cal sniper rifle.
It will be interesting to see if there is a retraction published. I won't hold my breath.

I don't know, with a scope my .50 ML is a pretty awesome sniper rifle....downright deadly in fact !!

It makes the same size hole, in the exact same place on the bull as a .50 BMG would make at 200 yds...a deer sure wouldn't know the difference

Hmmm... better hide it before anyone finds out.

Talk to line052, he used to do sniper training. With that ML and some training you will be among the most lethal snipers anyone has seen out to 150 yds. By the time you get finished reloading you may be able to slay as many as 3 or 4 zombies within 5 minutes - faster maybe if you use powder sticks and sabots (teasing).
