My buddy who works for Dymon Capital had one installed in our trailer park (his trailer) on Graham Lake in Brockville. Cell service around his trailer went from spotty 3 bars to 5 bars all the time. It became the new hotspot for people checking phones. They climbed a tree and lashed a 10ft piece of PVC pipe to top portion of the tree and mounted. The only thing different I would have done was ground the antenna cable. This unit captured and amplifies the cell signals and re-broadcast it a hotspot around his trailer. If you got within 50ft of his trailer you got 5 bars, he needed to service as his laptop allowed him to connect to work 24-7. Poor guy was never off company time even on the weekends.

My co worker does exactly the same thing at his camp, it allows him to be out there when on call, or if he's working on a project remotely, he can just hang out there all week and that becomes his office.
