That's all I need. So my girl can find out exactly where I'm hiding out during hunting season! Lol. Too much info for others to see. Use a garmin, nuff said.

This is kind of like the question about whether to buy one gun or another. My rule is if I can't make up my mind, my second rule kicks in which is you can't have too many guns. Point is, I have both. My iPhone with two Nav apps, a Garmin handheld, along with two trusted compasses. I can't take pictures or text with my Garmin, so the few extra ounces don't make any difference. Batteries die, and all I can do with the iPhone is carry one of those little battery powered chargers. And last, being over 60, I have this inherent mistrust of all things electronic, so I carry my trusty old compass (and use it) along with a not so old spare. All this in an area that I know like the back of my hand, but use a compass when in the bush when I want to walk in a straight line. The other thing about hand held GPS's is they like it better when they have a clear look at the sky - when you're in some dense canopy the accuracy diminishes quite a bit.
