European FHA sale results are posted now
http://www.furharvesters.com/results...14usPRELIM.pdf
Poo-poo, to say the least. I would think that FHA will take a hit on this one, esp. with the cost of having to air ship everything over to Europe. Marten clearance and prices still not good. A big drop on fox and coyote. Rats off 30-40%, but at least good clearance. Fisher, otter, coon all went south. Pretty wild how volatile this business is. Last year was crazy, and now we're back to reality again. Beaver did not too badly.

Yep , not good at all , I'll bet some of those extra 2000 licences that were issued this year don't get renewed next year , trapping is far from a get rich quick deal , looks like with all the goings on in the world right now things aren't going to rebound quick either
You got one shot at life where are your sights aimed today ?

Will be interesting to see if things get worse for the fur industry, now that Russia is causing e in Crimea. Talks of pending trade restrictions/embargos. We might lose a big customer for Canadian fur.
