Trail Cam review website
Hey boyo's,
Just found this link in the older threads thought it might help out those who are in the market to buy a Trail Cam.

Good luck to all this season. Cheers Ian

Wonder why there is no reviews of Cuddeback.
Maybe because they such atrocious junk that breaks down days after the warranty expires that no one is buying them any more.

I used both of those sites a lot last summer and while it does help give you a general idea of quality, just remember that most of them are made in China nowadays and all are subject to deviations in quality. I was always a Moultrie fan and last summer bought two M990i as they had decent reviews. Upon trying both of them they both had terrible night time videos so I returned them with absolutely no problems from the supplier.
Then after checking out sites like this one and bears east and archery talk I decided to go to Covert cameras. So I bought two Black60 cams. One of them was great, but the other one was totally wonky with night videos only being 2-3 seconds long no matter what setting I had set. So I returned that one to covert after getting an RA#. Covert has a good customer service reputation but they screwed up big time this time. First I go to the post office to pick up my replacement and get charged custom fees of $40 because they listed it as a new cam instead of a warranty replacement. So I'm ticked off. I go home and open the box and find 2 cheapo model mp6 cams. Now I'm really mad. So I have to clue in DLC Covert on their poor service and request the proper cam I wanted. Now to give them some credit they sent me a cheque to cover the customs fees and a prepaid ups slip for the return.
So I test the new Black60 in my basement and after 160 videos I'm having the same prob with night time vids sometimes being only 3 seconds long instead of the 25 seconds I have it set for. So that's 2 of 3 high end cams with faults. I am not a happy customer that's for sure. That being said, otherwise the Covert cams work great with lots of good features like different resolution and pir settings.
So my suggestion is to buy your new trail cam well before hunting season so you have plenty of time to test them and replace them if required. Cheers
