Sabots
Just picked up a new Traditions 50 cal for a buddy. Going to do some load work ups but want to find a source of sabots that I can use with my own lead. I don't care if they are for 35, 44 or 45 caliber. I have hundreds of pistol bullets and can't see the reason to use hunting slugs for plinking....
The local stores only sell the whole sabot/bullet combos.....

Has too much time on their hands
Just got the LEE 10lbs pot PN # 90009 ($80)and .501, 250gr R.E.A.L bullet mold PN # 90394 ($26), and LEE .501 Lube & Sizing dies PN # 90191 ($27) for the LEE single stage press I own, from Higgsson here outside of Ottawa. Waiting for nice day to fire up pot and make some bullets. Will post once first set is made.

It's a company in Manitoba, Precision Rifle, that makes the best proven and tested ML bullets on the market.

I use the green .50 cal MMP sabots with .44 cal 215 gr cast lead bullets. A very accurate and deadly combination.
