Why should we be interested? What can this do that isn't already serviced bt FRS or GMRS radios?

Its vhf.. 2w vhf transmits further than FRS... Also h can send data packets...

we been using vhf radios for years and its 5 watt radios

Been using VHF for 14 years..I am allowed 2500 Watts PEP(1500 RMS).
So what is the big deal about two watts. That is a marine VHF on LOW power.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

You don't need a license for it.

My smart phone works just great thank you! We all have smart phones and just text each other no need for radios anymore!

And if the whole cell grid went down.. The hams will be the only sourc of outside communication...
