Ruffed Grouse cooked like Cornish Game hens with stuffing,Venison spaghetti sauce and Moose roasts. OK,now you did it. I'm headin' for the kitchen to raid the fridge.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

I like it all when prepared properly but if I had to pick one it's moose by a long shot

My favourite would have to be moose, venison comes in at a close second. When it comes to things that fly, it's hard to beat ruffed grouse.

I would have to agree, caribou, followed closely by elk. Marinated in red wine, soya and garlic then turned slowly over a smoking flame such that it is still pink inside.

Deer or moose fast-frys. Battered in Kronzy's Canadian Fisherman's coating.
The same with partridge finger (grouse). While bird hunting, always a cookstove
and breading for a trail lunch with a nice cold POP.
    Just like walleye. Soooo gooood!

Whole grouse in tinfoil pouch, with pats of butter, basil, oregeno, salt and pepper. On bottom of tinfoil a layer of onions then roasted in oven, daughter loves it.
