    Default Spring Training

Tomorrow we will be training in a local parking lot .WHY a parking lot ....the fields still have three feet of snow in them.
This will be the first time out for half a dozen labrador puppies . They will start to
retrieve with paint rollers and move to pigeons . Some are as young as 10 weeks . It will be a lot of fun watching them at their first training day. Some of the pups are around 16 weeks and they are on pigeons already .
I would love to post pictures but we are on dial up ( don't laugh). It takes so long to post that I lose patience. If anyone there is on the forum I will ask them to post. I should invite Wayner . He could do it.

When the pups finish we will set up lining and casting drills for the older dogs . They are going crazy to get retrieving.

THIS WILL BE THE FIRST WEEKEND THAT THE TEMPERATURE WILL BE ABOVE ZERO IN ALONG TIME SO WE PLAN TO ENJOY IT.

Well Chis, we managed to get the puppies going befor Eden found the only patch of ice around, slipped and ended up in the hospital with a concussion. If this is the way the season is shaping up I just might commit haricari. You will probably hear her all the way down at your place if they don't let her out tomorrow. We never said training with us was dull. Thank God one of our members is a nurse.

I feel your pain (snow depth wise) if I waited for it to clear we wouldn't get at until May long weekend! Driveways, parking lots, and snow dumps for us.

Guess our Spring training will be put on hold for awhile found out last night that my sister does have a fracture of the skull. Getting info is like pulling teeth. They did say that she will need some rehab but can't seem to get a straight answer for a time line of healing. In the mean time I will be dealing with her Tiny Marsh duties.
