So exercise your rights in the free market by not buying his product. No need for passive aggression on a messageboard. That's what I say.

Fair enough but I was referring more to the logo issue.
There is no way Capital didn't know what they were doing when they used that logo.

I was aiming at the same point, Ryan worked for SLO and now he copies their logo while operating in the same area (Kingston - Mallorytown)
Poor business decision if nothing else. As for the professionals involved - GO SENS GO

I don't really understand why so many people are complaining about a new waterfowl company in Canada. Why do you care what there logo is like. We should all be thrilled that a brand new company has decided to set up shop in Canada. With reactions like yours no wonder people don't want to go out and invest all there money in a new business in Canada.
I honestly don't get the hate. Ryan is a good friend of mine and i'm helping him with this anyway I can. I also have another good friend of mine starting a call company here in Canada in the near future but with reactions like this I have a feeling people are just going to run him down too. He has a goose and a maple leaf in his logo too, Does St Lawrence own that right.
Just be happy people, we now have some waterfowl companies popping up in our own Backyard. Canadian Waterfowlers Pro Shop (you should shop here first, lol) Parr's Pro, DPA, Canadian Waterfowl Supplies and now Capital Waterfowling. We have never had this many options as waterfowl hunters in Ontario. We need to start supporting places like this, spending our money in Canada and not complaining and dragging someone's name through the mud because they have a Goose in a Maple Leaf as there logo..
Just my 2 cents

buddy you have a funny definition of 'hate'. it would seem that if someone doesn't fall over themselves with professions of love then they 'hate'.
yes we should be so lucky that some guy put a $5 insert in a barrel with a semi-copied logo and sells it for $70
no one is hating my man, we are probably just going to vote with our wallets

My own personal opinion is that Canadians particularly don't like being misled by a business, if the calls were being made here with Canadian labour contributing to the Canadian economy, not just lining a couple of guys pockets, I would be the first to support that.

Actually I'm sure they do own exactly that, a goose or goose head inside a maple leaf. Tell your buddy to be careful with that. If a copyright is proven to be infringed upon, in lots of different circumstances the owner can take all profits connected with the sale of the uncommissioned use of the logo......that would be terrible for everyone and it would be particularly bad to force the owner , to do that in defence of his business....especially given his connections to the one individual involved. David is a long standing professional in the business, who has done more to progress Ontario waterfowling in the last 15 years than countless others, imagine if you had spent 15 years of hard grind building a reputation, only to find out that someone you are connected to, copied your trademark.

I do/am shopping at Canadian Waterfowl Supplies (great guy) and Distribution Pleinair (Great Guy), I agree that there is nothing better than to support Canadian business, but not based on sketchy manufacturing claims and stealing a great guy's logo, for Christ's sake, they couldn't think of anything else as a logo!!!!!!!!!
