I shot them far away from the dump site 90 km from the last town , beside the bluberry pach

Ever see some of the stuff that is fed to pigs? Also think about it, if a speckled trout that you are feeding worms to weighed 150-200lbs like a bear can you imagine how disgusting it's daily intake would look? Do you realize that wild turkeys eat bugs , mice and rotten fruits? Don't let what a bear eats scare you.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Turkeys will eat anything they can get their beaks on. They really are pigs of the bird world.
As for eating bear. Pepperettes are great.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Bear meat is delicious. Like all wild game, it's all in how it is cooked.
