Animal Alliance of Canada and the usual suspects are going to Court for an injunction to stop it. www.toronto.ctv.ca
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I wouldn't worry too much about it. anyone can protest and I am sure most of these organizations have the means to bring it to court, however the courts will see right through them hopefully.
I am yet again surprised at the positive comments in the comments section. most hunting articles bring out all the wack jobs, but most seem supportive.

So, do we get to charge those whack jobs for destroying our ecosystem for having the hunt banned in the first place? Seriously....I would think that Harris and Schad should be held accountable for the imbalance in our bear population and the harm it is causing to our moose population, public safety, etc, etc. There was a breach of trust in banning the spring bear hunt as far as I am concerned! This gets me furious!

Exercising their legal rights. For that I applaud them.

However I doubt it will do them any good.

Hopefully they spend a ton of money, lose, and cripple their organization.

I would hope that when they lose, the judge awards the MNR / Ontario government full costs for their legal bill.
