Only problem is if guys are comfortable they'll spend too much time there.

This should be in Ontario Out of Doors Magazine. Alot of people don't understand hunting is as much as the friendships and shared times as it the hunt. Great story and pictures bring it to life. Thanks for wonderful read...now back to my pursut of my buck.

Hey TR another great post, really enjoy reading your blogs per say. One question is that you mentioned both Renfrew and Calabogie. Where abouts do you hunt. Myself I hunt just outside of Renfrew and for years hunted just outside of Calabogie.

Thanks for the feedback Donnie, and an interesting question, was wondering if someone was going to "catch" that, let's just say, I hunt between the two which is why when I refer to my deer trips I make reference to both locations.

Yes all deer camps need new blood in them, It seems as you get older the legs get shorter and the trails get longer. Always a great week , great to spend some time with family and friends. My grandson and granddaughter , have just got their licences, hope to keep them interested in the outdoors. Grandson got his first deer, two years ago. I was lucky to be with him, proud moment for poppa. Now to get grand daughter out , she is an excellent shot ,so just needs the opportunity. We spend a week at the hunt camp for moose, family group , including grandkids. Usually don't have tags , but it really doesn't matter .Have a great time , eat too much, good get together ,
