    Default Learned something about sheds

Sometimes they STINK! Or at least those more than a year old do. I picked up this one last weekend in the North Bay area and it was obvious it had been there a long time. Later that day it was my wife who said, "Your truck smells really bad, kinda musty!" It won't be joining my shed collection indoors just yet, I'll leave in my garage for now.

Speaking of smelly, we found this poor buck along the way.

Neat find. Can't say I've ever noticed a smell to them.

My grandfather told me never to bring cast antlers into the porch at his place as the porqupines would take a leak on them to mark them as their territory. He said if I brought them to the house the porcs would then be chewing up the siding. I don't know if there was any truth to it or not.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

The salt you throw down on the walkway or that leaks off your car probably does a better job attracting porcys

I figure its all the moisture in it. Very dead sounding, no ring to it. Gonna leave it up in the roof trusses to dry out over the summer.
